A punching bag replaces a human opponent in an ideal way due to its size and circumference. Depending on the size and the weight of the punching bag not only punching but also kicking combinations for all types of martial arts (e.g. kickboxing, karate etc.) can be performed using a punching bag. Please note that no shoes should be worn as to prevent the punching bag from damage.
The outer material used for a punching bag can be artificial leater, genuine leather, bisonyl (special synthetic material), canvas, nylon or linen, whereas high-quality punching bags are mostly made of bisonyl or genuine leather.
